The Committee on the Rights of the Child, headed by MK Yifat Shasha Biton (Kulanu) approved for second and third readings the bill to install cameras for the protection of toddlers in daycare centers of MK Shasha Biton and a group of Knesset members.
The bill, like the Supervision of Daycare Law, will apply to frameworks with at least seven children, and after an adjustment period ending in September 2020, the placement of the cameras will become mandatory, except in certain settings, and will also be one requirement for getting a license according to the Supervision of Daycare Law.
