Culture and Sports Minister Miri Regev congratulated this morning on the removal of the monument in Akko in memory of one of the members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine terrorist organization.
"I thank the Minister of the Interior and the Minister of Religious Affairs, Aryeh Deri, who acceded to my request to remove the monument and instructed to remove it. We must act with all force and without compromise in order to prevent action or measures intended to glorify terrorists. It happened today with the monument in Akko and it must happen with the passing of the Law of Loyalty in Culture. We must end glorification of terrorists under the guise of freedom of expression and freedom of creativity. "
