Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely said that in talks with Georgian officials, it was agreed that a dialogue would begin regarding the transfer of the Georgian embassy to Jerusalem.
"In light of the deep and long-standing friendship, we want to see Georgia transfer its embassy to the capital of Israel," Hotovely said. Deputy Minister Hotovely, who was the guest of honor at the swearing-in ceremony of the President of Georgia on behalf of the Israeli delegation, met with the elected President Salome Zurabishvili.
