The Ministerial Committee on Legislation has endorsed a bill to expel families of terrorists.
Speaking after the special meeting on the matter, Minister Naftali Bennett said, "The jurists around [Prime Minister Binyamin] Netanyahu opposed the law. We are restoring deterrence." He reportedly said at Sunday's cabinet meeting that the legislation was needed to overcome objections by Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit against the expulsion of the families.
