Israel Defense Forces Spokesperson Ronen Manelis has told military reporters, "We increased the number of forces in Judea and Samaria at the beginning of the week, after [the attack at] Ofra, out of a desire to prevent imitations, and we are preparing for the possibility of widespread copy-cat activity."
Referring to this morning's attack at Givat Asaf, the brigadier general added, "We are not confirming or denying that this is part of the terrorist squad that carried out the attack at Ofra."
