It was cleared for publication on Wednesday evening that, following intensive intelligence and operational activity by the Israel Security Agency and the Israel Police, suspects were arrested in connection with the shooting attack at the Ofra junction on Sunday, in which seven Israeli civilians were wounded. A baby who was carried in the womb one of the wounded died in the hospital three days after the attack.

During the arrest of one the suspects, Salah Omar Salah Barghouti, 29, a resident of the village of Kobar, in Binyamin, the suspect tried to escape while trying to harm the forces, and was shot and killed.
