According to the IDF, the meeting was held in "a good and professional atmosphere", during which IDF officers presented the details of Operation Northern Shield to their Russian counterparts, as well as promoting the process of improving de-escalation mechanisms between the two armies in the northern arena.
During the meeting, the IDF presented its policy of continuing to act against Iranian entrenchment and the arming of Hezbollah in Syria, and reached understandings and agreed to continue joint work.
The IDF delegation to Moscow, led by the head of the Operations Branch, Major General Aharon Haliva, will leave for Israel at the end of a meeting.
