Minister of Social Equality Gila Gamliel celebrated Haifa Councilman Raja Za'atara's announcement that he will waive the appointment of deputy mayor.
"There is no room for a terrorist supporter and a BDS agent in the management of a city in Israel" said Gamliel. "When we fight terror and fight against the mechanisms of defamation and delegitimization abroad, we must not allow a fifth column within a chain of command and at the expense of the taxpayer to act against Israel."
