Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein (Likud) on Tuesday called on the mayor of Haifa, Einat Kalish, to cancel the agreement to appoint council member Raja Zatara from Hadash as a deputy mayor.
"Anyone who praises a terrorist organization and serves as deputy mayor, not only harms the residents of Haifa, but also Arab citizens of Israel in general, and I have hope that the elected mayor will act with the logic and cancel the coalition agreement, "He said.
