The official value of the shekel rose an average of .251 percent on Monday against most of the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.
The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.727, down .294 percent from Friday, while the Euro gained .094 percent to 4.2551 shekels and the pound sterling was set at 4.7225 shekels, down .838 percent, ahead of a vote by the British parliament on exiting the European Union.
