Tourism Minister Yariv Levin and Philippine Labor Minister Sylvester Bello are expected to sign a bilateral agreement tomorrow to arrange for the arrival of Filipino workers in the hotel sector in order to help the acute shortage of manpower in that sector in Israel.
The agreement will allow 1,000 room workers to be brought to hotels in Israel, with the possibility of doubling the number of employees, according to the government's decision in August.
