The David Unit, which is responsible for enforcing environmental hazards in the Civil Administration for Judea and Samaria, has seized two trucks carrying illegal construction waste at the A-Za'im crossing in the Jerusalem perimeter, on their way to enter the Judea and Samaria area without the necessary permits.
The two trucks were confiscated and transferred to the confiscation lot in Beit El. One driver was summoned for a hearing by an environmental protection officer in his Beit El office and the other driver was transferred to the Samaria-Judea District Police. An environment officer with the Civil Administration said more than 290 tons of construction and other environmentally hazardous wastes have been seized recently.
