Lockheed Martin won a US $ 6.9 million tender from the US Army for improvements and enhancements to the ONYX advanced external skeleton that helps ease the physical effort of walking and carrying weights.
The improvements will be tested jointly by the Engineering and Development Department of the US Army and the University of Florida through practical use by soldiers.
