Deputy Minister Michael Oren said, Tuesday afternoon, "The discovery and destruction of Hezbollah's offensive tunnels underscores, again, the importance of developing and strengthening the Golan Heights and the North."
Responding to the Israel Defense Forces' Operation Northern Shield, the former ambassador to the United States added, "There is no better time to adopt the 'Net Golan' plan, which calls for the settlement of 100,000 Israelis on the Heights and making it an integral part of the state."
