Police arrested 10 suspects, Monday evening in violent clashes in the Galilee village of Ras al-Ein in the wake of the local elections.
During the violent incidents, shots were fired and stones were thrown. In addition, the police seized a collection of firebombs ready for throwing and stones that were apparently intended for attack. All the suspects were brought to the Akko Magistrates Court this morning to discuss a request by the police to extend their detention.
