Minister Yisrael Katz has welcomed the start of Operation Northern Shield to destroy Hezbollah terror tunnels on the border with Lebanon.
Katz said, "Israel is again proving its high intelligence and operational capabilities against any plot and against any enemy." He added, "Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Binyamin Netanyahu should be commended for the fact that, despite the difficult pressures, he led the right process of decision-making in the security cabinet, while exercising broad and comprehensive discretion in favor of the security of the State of Israel."
