Mayor David Azoulay of the Upper Galilee city of Metula, which includes a closed military zone, made it clear in an interview with Israel Defense Forces Radio, on Tuesday, "From our point of view, the routine is full. Everything here is quiet and calm."
Responding to the announcement that the Israel Defense Forces have launched an operation to destroy Hezbollah terror tunnels on the border, Azoulay added, "Metula is entering a new reality. We are relying on the security forces and are prepared for every scenario."
