The casket carrying President George H.W. Bush arrived at the US Capitol on Monday afternoon.
In remarks at the Rotunda, Vice President Mike Pence recounted Bush's military service and political rise, and lauded Bush's navigation of a wartime presidency. Bush will lie in state in the Rotunda until Wednesday morning. He will be laid to rest in Texas on Thursday.
