The Health Ministry is concerned about the increase in pneumonia due to a seasonal flu outbreak and is calling on the public to be vaccinated against flu to avoid complications.
The ministry recently indicated a significant increase in respiratory morbidity, mainly pneumonia, following complications from flu. At the same time, there is an increase in the percentage of positive isolations for influenza, according to ministry monitoring clinics.
