Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu flew to Brussels on Monday afternoon for an evening meeting with United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

Before his departure, Netanyahu said the two would discuss a series of developments in the region "as well as the steps we are taking together to block the aggression of Iran and its proxies in the north." The meeting will also be attended by Mossad intelligence chief Yossi Cohen, the head of the National Security Council, Meir Ben Shabat, and Netanyahu's military secretary, Brigadier General Avi Balot. The meeting was originally scheduled for Wednesday, but was made earlier by the late President George H.W. Bush's funeral later this week.
