President of the State Reuven Rivlin and his wife Nechama met today at the President's Residence with the heads of the largest women's organizations in Israel - Na'amat Chairman Galia Voloch, Emunah Chairman Liora Minka and WIZO Chair Prof. Rivka Lazovsky.

The heads of the organizations asked to meet urgently with the president against the background of the strike to be held tomorrow to protest the growing violence against women and the desire to bring about a change in social policy.

"We have a moral debt to the victims and to many other women and their parents and children and sisters who were murdered this year and in other years, but we must act immediately and do everything to save the next woman," the president said.
