Chairman Avi Gabbay of the Zionist Union has used the word "crybaby" to describe Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's Sunday night speech in response to word that the police will recommend corruption charges against him over improprieties at the Bezeq communications company and the Walla website.
Using a reference to a phrase mocking a tendency for constant complaints, Gabbay said the speech shows again how detached Netanyahu is from the truth. He added, "We have become tired of a prime minister who is immersed in criminal investigations and attacks on the gatekeepers appointed by him. On the eve of the Maccabees, the time has come for another kind of leadership. That will show that it's possible to change, that will protect the rule of law and deal with the real problems of the public."
