Chairman Yair Lapid of the Yesh Atid Party has responded to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's Hanukkah speech by saying, "A prime minister cannot attack the legal authorities in such a way only because he is terrified of the accusations against him," according to Channel 10 Television.
Lapid continued, "It is a danger to democracy, a danger to the rule of law, and a mortal blow to our common life. There is no doubt he must transfer the premiership to another member of the Likud until elections."
