Social Equality Minister Gila Gamliel gave Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu a vote of confidence, Sunday evening, against the backdrop of word from the police that they will recommend charges against him in a case of alleged improprieties at the Bezeq communications company and the Walla website.
Speaking at a ceremony at the President's Residence to honor those who excel in the fight against human trafficking, Gamliel said, "Prime Minister Netanyahu, we have known each other for more than 20 years and I know that you are always but always acting out of practical considerations for the benefit of the State of Israel, and the good of this country is the only thing that guides you." She added, "On the eve of Chanukah, I have no doubt that the light will overcome the darkness."
