The United States and the European Union on Thursday night reached an agreement on a compromise regarding the wording of the resolution condemning Hamas, which will be brought to a vote in the UN General Assembly.
Among other things, the draft resolution states that the UN "condemns Hamas for the repeated firing of rockets at Israel, incitement to violence and endangering civilians." The vote on the draft resolution is expected to take place on Monday.
