Bill to cancel "supermarket law" heads to first reading

The Yesh Atid party faction will raise a bill to cancel the "Supermarkets Law" tomorrow (Wednesday) for a vote in the Knesset plenum.

MK Yair Lapid chairman of the Yesh Atid party said: "The supermarket law is an insult to every Israeli citizen; Secular, traditional or religious. It's not Shabbat law, it's a law against Shabbat. They come to our house and tell us what to do. They come to the neighborhoods, the cities, where not one ultra-Orthodox Jew lives, and tell us how to live. I call on all factions in the House to cancel the law with us. "

MK Ofer Shelah, chairman of the faction, said, "One by one, we will cancel the bad laws of this government."
