The Knesset Labor, Welfare and Health Committee has approved Health Ministry regulations to limit the production and marketing of electronic cigarettes containing nicotine at a concentration greater than 20 milligrams.
Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman said, "We are leading the fight against various kinds of smoking. The professional position of the Health Ministry is that electronic cigarettes are part of the problem and not part of the solution, and I thank the Knesset for joining the struggle we are leading."
