Police have arrested a 53-year-old man in the murder of 16-year-old Yara Ayoub of the Arab Galilee town of Jish, also known by its ancient Hebrew name of Gush Halav.
Ayoub was last seen alive on Friday. A 28-year-old suspect was arrested yesterday while the case was still considered a kidnapping. Her body was found today, before the second suspect was arrested. The two face a hearing tomorrow for extension of their detention.
