Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon has instructed his ministry's staff to work with the Beit Shemesh municipality to formulate a plan to promote the city.
During a meeting with newly-elected Mayor Aliza Bloch, Kahlon sought to examine, among other things, the possibility of immediately establishing commercial and employment areas and developing industrial zones, as well as the new Dalet and Heh neighborhoods. Bloch has held similar meetings with the Ministers of Education and Construction and Housing.
