Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said, Monday, "It will not happen any more that we gain the sympathy of the world by uprooting settlements, but because of our determination and strength."

Speaking at the opening of the Likud Knesset faction meeting, Netanyahu adressed the anticipated speech in the Knesset today of Czech President Milos Zeman, whom he called "a huge friend of Israel". Combined with yesterday's arrival of President Idriss Deby of Chad, Netanyahu promised, "More visits are expected soon." He added that he responded happily to Deby's invitation to visit Chad.
