About 100 people were injured in the 6.3 magnitude earthquake that hit the Ilam district in western Iran, according to local authorities cited by Reuters.
The authorities report that most of the injured were not affected by the earthquake itself, but as a result of accidents that occurred when they tried to escape its influence.
