Former Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman has welcomed the appointment of Major General Aviv Kochavi as the next chief of staff of the Israel Defense Forces.
Writing on Twitter, Liberman said, "This is an excellent officer who will be an excellent chief of staff who will lead the IDF to achievements in the coming years."
