Sources at Sunday's cabinet said that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and the ministers vehemently rejected recent statements made by former deputy chief of staff Yair Golan of the Israel Defense Forces against the political echelon.
They were quoted as saying "IDF officers are invited and allowed to express their professional opinion freely in closed forums, but they must not express their views on the political echelon as long as they on duty."
