Construction Minister Yoav Galant on Thursday congratulated Major General Eyal Zamir, who was named the new IDF Deputy Chief of Staff.
"Eyal is one of the leaders among the IDF field commanders in the last generation and a brave fighter. I wish success to Chief of Staff Kochavi and his deputy Zamir. The IDF and its fighters are in safe and skilled hands," Galant said.
