The family of former soldier Elor Azariya has filed a complaint with the Department for Investigating Police with Public Safety Minister Gil'ad Erdan after they were surprised to read Thursday morning in the media about the rejection of Elor's appeal to the firearms licensing division against the decision to reject his request for a weapons license.
The family had received no official notice of the rejection and called immediately after the reports to the weapons licensing division, where they were told that no decision had been made and that there was no negative or positive decision.
