Livnat hits MKs for voting against probe of violence against women

Former minister Limor Livnat wrote on Twitter, Thursday, "To female ministers and Knesset members in the Likud and the coalition who voted yesterday against the establishment of a parliamentary commission of inquiry to prevent violence against women - how could you ????"

The senior Likud member continued "In 1995, I headed a parliamentary committee to investigate the murder of women by their spouses, together with Yael Dayan. On this issue there is no coalition and no opposition. This is an important part of your mission."
