The Knesset plenum rejected in a preliminary reading of a bill that requested that members of the cabinet be required to undergo a polygraph examination by the Shin Bet once a year.
The proposal, submitted by MK Robert Ilatov (Yisrael Beiteinu), sought to determine that the results of the examination would be submitted only to the prime minister and to the attorney general.
