MK Stav Shafir (Zionist Union) turned to Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein (Likud) in regards to MK Lieberman's (Yisrael Beiteinu) request not to sit next to MK Odeh (Joint List).
"I see with great severity the request of former defense minister Avigdor Liberman, chairman of the Yisrael Beiteinu party, to ask to replace his chair so as not to sit next to MK Ayman Odeh, chairman of the Joint List, in the plenum. This demand stems from blatant and dangerous racism, "Shafir wrote to Edelstein.
