Tourism Minister Yariv Levin proposed stripping the immunity that journalists' enjoy to prevent leaks that endanger national security.
"We must remove the journalistic leaks regarding leaks from the cabinet ... The secrecy is essential for journalistic work that has an important public interest, but not leaks from the cabinet that endanger state security," said Levin.
"Removing the immunity is the only way to locate the leaks and prevent the phenomenon."
