Shas spiritual leader Rabbi Shalom Cohen telephoned Minister Aryeh Deri (Shas) on Tuesday evening and reinforced him following a police recommendation to indict him.
"The more successful the Shas movement is, the more those who pursue us try to hurt us," said Rabbi Cohen to Deri.
