Israel Railways reports that a disaster was prevented this morning when a truck broke into a crossing near Ramle shortly before a train arrived.
The truck was stuck at the crossing and train traffic was disrupted in the central area, with an emphasis on the Beit Shemesh-Ramle-Tel Aviv-Netanya line. Israeli railway crews were dispatched to the area and helped to rescue the truck. Train traffic returned to normal gradually.
