Director-General Yisrael Danziger of the Ministry of Environmental Protection said, Tuesday, "Israel's withdrawal from coal and diesel is a life-saving revolution. But it must be based on renewable energies," according to Channel 10 Television.
Speaking at the 16th Israel Energy and Business Convention 2018 in Ramat Gan, Danziger said, "You cannot just talk about gas - it's fossil fuel too. It is a temporary solution for several decades - not a strategic target."
