The office of Jewish Home Party Chairman and Education Minister Naftali Bennett's made it clear on Tuesday that contrary to a Channel 2 News report, Rabbi Haim Druckman was not the one who persuaded the ministers of the party to remain in the government.

Bennett's associates note that before the decision was made on Sunday at 22:00, there was no conversation between the ministers and Rabbi Druckman. Bennett's office said, "A few minutes before the start of the press conference yesterday, Minister Bennett informed several people about the decision, including Rabbi Druckman in a short conversation." It concluded, "Bennett appreciates the rabbi and his contribution to the people of Israel, but the things that were presented do not accurately reflect the events."
