Danny Danon, Israel's ambassador to the United Nations, thanked United States counterpart Nikki Haley on Monday for her response to UN Middle East envoy Nickolay Mladenov's report on the situation in Gaza.
Writing on Twitter, Danon said that Haley revealed "the truth that there is no such thing as 'two sides to the conflict,' there is Hamas that fires missiles at civilian populations, and there is Israel that protects its citizens. Thank you for standing by Israel!"
