As of December 21, cash payments for buses in Tel Aviv and the Gush Dan metropolitan areas will be gradually phased out, according to Israel Defense Forces Radio.
Passengers will have to use Rav-Kav bus cards with payment of fares made before boarding, as is already the case in Jerusalem.
