An indictment has been filed against a 51-year-old resident of Karmiel for exploiting the elderly in seven different cases, in some cases presenting himself as a police officer who could assist them.
Most of the victims were Russian-speaking women. The indictment alleges the defendant fraudulently received more than half a million shekels.
