Member of Knesset Yoav Kish has backed Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's speech, saying, "I believe him, standing alone and insisting on behalf of the well-being of the State of Israel, ignoring all political considerations that could have helped him now and announcing: Security is too important."

"If tomorrow [Jewish Home ministers] Bennett and Shaked resign from the government, they join [former defense minister] Liberman in providing an unthinkable moral spirit to the Hamas terrorist organization. The Israeli public, certainly the right wing, will not forgive them."
