A personal civil suit for 75,000 shekels was recently filed with the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court against the detectives of the Jerusalem Police Central Unit.
According to the suit, undercover detectives stormed a boy in the Mea She'arim neighborhood of Jerusalem who threw a plastic bag at a detective who was dressed as a haredi soldier. When a yeshiva student asked what was going on with arms folded, he was allegedly abused in many violent ways, including by an officer who pulled at his beard. The incident was caught on a security camera.
