The Jewish Home Party has responded to reports that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will appoint a foreign minister in the coming days by saying, "Netanyahu's announcement of the appointment of the Foreign Ministry does not change anything. This is a government which is called Right and does Left. Without assigning the task of restoring security to [Jewish Home Chairman Naftali] Bennett, we must go to immediate elections."

Citing "the collapse of deterrence against Hamas, the failure to evacuate Khan Al-Ahmar, [and] the weak policy toward terrorists and their families after terrorist attacks", a party statement said, "The public is tired of voting Right and getting Left."
