Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman has paid a condolence call on the family of Lieutenant Colonel M., who was killed earlier this week in a military operation in Gaza.
Writing on Twitter after the visit, Liberman said, "I had the privilege of personally being acquainted with M., a soldier and a man who, in his modesty, was a model example for IDF fighters. The story of the life and death of Lieutenant Colonel M. will become a legacy of battle on which future generations [of soldiers] will be educated."
